Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical industry! This paid position offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled electricians on diverse construction projects. You will develop essential skills in electrical systems, wiring, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to exciting commercial and industrial installations. Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely to run conduit, pull wire, and install fixtures according to schematics and blueprints. Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues accurately. Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working around high voltage environments. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction site activities is highly desirable. Basic understanding of low voltage systems and NEC standards for electrical installations. Ability to operate testing devices such as ohmmeters confidently for troubleshooting purposes. Strong interest in learning about high voltage systems and advanced electrical concepts. Construction site experience demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and safety awareness. Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude towards safety protocols like framing carpentry when applicable. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
