Job Description

The Residential Heat Pump Electrician is a member of the construction team responsible for delivering high-quality installations of air-source heat pumps and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with installing heat pumps and domestic hot water heaters. This candidate must be dedicated to further ReVision Energy's mission to reduce fossil fuel consumption using the most efficient and robust electric heating and cooling appliances available while providing legendary customer service. Compensation includes hourly wage, health insurance, HSA with company match, retirement savings, Employee ownership, paid time off & paid holidays. Roles and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Lead high-quality thermal installations including the installation of air-source heat pumps and heat pump water heaters. Assist the Crew lead with the installation of power systems for HVAC installations including branch circuits, disconnects, and load centers. Maintain a respectful, professional and responsive relationship with customers and co-workers at all times. Perform system commissioning and function checks. Comprehensive understanding of the NEC as it relates to the installation of Heat pumps and HVAC systems in a variety of applications. Attend electrical inspections as needed on behalf of the company. Supervise and assist in the training of thermal apprentice electricians. Help to ensure all necessary materials and tools arrive to the job site. Follow OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and best practices to ensure overall crew and job site safety. Assist with staging and packing materials and tools and load vans. Assist with general site preparation and clean up. Participate in regular safety training. Help to maintain tools and trucks in excellent condition. Remain up to date with code requirements, manufacturers' specifications, and company installation standards through continuing education and professional development resources. Complies with DOT laws and requirements when operating a regulated vehicle. Perform additional duties as assigned. Limited, Journeyman and / or Master Electrician license HVAC installation experience Highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities Ability to succeed in a fast paced, community environment Safety

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(desired but not required ) EPA 608 Universal Certification Experience designing and/or installing Residential and light commercial split systems Heat loss/heat gain calculations as per Manual J Knowledge of Mitsubishi split systems Mitsubishi Diamond System Builder Familiar with ASHRAE 62.1 and 62.2 Ventilation Requirements EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification ("Type 1" minimum) OSHA 10 hour certification Manufacturer specific certification/training Beginning April 2026, as part of our hiring process, we will conduct job‑related background checks after a conditional offer is made.
