45.48-51.06 Sappi North America Sappi Somerset, is one of the largest, most advanced and high performing mills in North America with one of the lowest mill emissions. Our packaging papers are suited across a range of market segments including health and beauty, confectionery, premium beverages and food packaging. We manufacture labels for cans and jars and our graphic papers are used in direct mail, magazines and catalogs. Nearly $1 billion in the last decade has been invested to expand into sustainable and renewable SBS board grades for folding carton and foodservice, including the rebuilds of PM1 in 2018 and PM2, to be completed in 2025. The Somerset mill focuses on safety, sustainability, quality, and innovation. The Somerset Mill located in Skowhegan, Maine is currently in the process of accepting applications for a full-time hourly Electrical and Instrumentation Journeyman. Sappi offers a Journeyman A rate of $51.06 per hour and vacation service credit for previous industrial experience for up to 12 years. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
+ BSEET degree or a two year technical College degree preferred. + 2+ years of E/I Journeyman experience preferred
+ Experience in electrical/instrumentation systems including installation and maintenance
+ Experience in
DCS & PLC
controls
+ Experience in AC & DC drives
+ Experience in power distribution systems a plus
+ Working knowledge of Honeywell TDC 3000 and Allen-Bradley PLC control systems a plus
