In this hands-on role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced maintenance professionals, you will help ensure equipment reliability, support preventive maintenance programs, and maintain a safe workplace while developing your technical skills. Essential Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Inspect electrical components, wiring, motors, control panels, and other equipment for proper operation. Diagnose basic electrical issues and assist with repairs under the guidance of experienced electricians. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Install and replace electrical components such as sensors, switches, motors, relays, and circuit breakers. Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and company safety policies. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Assist with maintaining an inventory of electrical parts, tools, and supplies. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues. Participate in safety meetings and ongoing technical training to develop electrical and maintenance skills. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Preferred Experience Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong Mechanical Background Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and sound judgment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training preferred. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds.
