Job Description
- Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
- Job Description
- This role focuses on performing service work and repairs on facility equipment in a large industrial environment.
You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, interpret schematics and blueprints, and complete repairs and installations on equipment located both on rooftops and within the facility. The position requires working at heights, climbing ladders, and operating lifts while ensuring safe, reliable electrical service throughout the plant.
- Responsibilities
- + Perform service work and repairs on facility electrical equipment in a large industrial setting.
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and other technical documentation.
+ Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, and electrical service components.
+ Run and bend conduit for new installations and modifications to existing systems.
+ Pull and terminate electrical wiring in accordance with industrial standards and applicable codes.
+ Work on rooftops and within the facility, including climbing ladders and safely using lifts to access equipment.
+ Interpret and follow electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
+ Perform industrial electrical repairs to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
+ Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working at heights and around industrial equipment.
+ Collaborate with other maintenance and facility personnel to support continuous operation of the plant.
- Essential Skills
- + Journeyman Electrician experience with a valid journeyman license or card from a union or state licensing body.
+ Proven experience performing electrical installations and repairs in commercial or industrial environments.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and facility equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately.
+ Hands-on experience with conduit installation, including running and bending conduit.
+ Proficiency in pulling and installing electrical wiring in industrial settings.
+ Knowledge of electrical service systems and industrial electrical repair practices.
+ Comfort working at heights, including on rooftops, and using ladders and lifts safely.
+ Solid understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience working in large industrial plants, particularly in high-volume manufacturing environments.
+ Experience in supporting electrical systems for advanced or specialized production facilities, such as EV manufacturing plants.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, operations, and facilities teams.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively to urgent repair needs.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $89668.
80 - $89668.80/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
