About the Role As a Licensed Residential Service Electrician, you will serve as a critical technical expert for homeowners, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of their electrical infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise to diagnose complex issues, perform high-quality installations, and provide peace of mind through professional service delivery. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and upgrade residential electrical systems, including panels, circuits, and wiring. Execute precise installations of electrical fixtures and devices to meet modern safety standards. Identify potential code violations or safety hazards and provide actionable solutions to clients. Translate technical findings into clear, understandable recommendations for homeowners. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all service visits, including detailed notes and site imagery. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and property protection while performing on-site repairs. Required Skills Active Michigan Journeyman Electrician license. Proven background in electrical troubleshooting and system fundamentals. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional demeanor with clients. Preferred Skills Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical maintenance. Familiarity with generator installation or specialized electrical service work. A proactive mindset with a strong desire to master residential service processes.
