Job Description

Position Summary:

Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery containing electrical componentry. Provide support for the manufacturing of quality products through maintenance and installation of electrical components and equipment. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery including: o PLC Controlled Machineryo Robotico Welding o Pneumatico Hydraulico Press Controlo General Manufacturing Mills and Presses Operate a variety of equipment including: o Metering Deviceso Hand Toolso Scissor Lifto Programable Logic Control (PLC)o Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM)o Diagnostic Computerso Conduit Benderso Threading Equipmento AMP Probeo Meggero Thermographicso Ultrasonic Analysis Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility.

Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair machinery.

Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.

Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system.

Engage with outside resources as needed to keep production running.

Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested.

Advanced troubleshooting of both equipment and systems. For example, PLC troubleshooting, variable frequency drives, induction welders, mid-freq welders, etc.

Additional functions, not specifically outlined in this position description, as directed by the supervisor.

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).

Completion of a Formal Electrician Apprenticeship.

Minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Electrician preferred.

Michigan State Electrician's License.

Master Electrician Certificate preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Applications (e.g. word, excel, outlook, etc).

Ability to drive KTMR support.
