Duties Lead and manage electrical teams on construction sites, ensuring all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, building codes, and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage wiring. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Review blueprints for electrical drafting, ensuring all plans meet code requirements and project specifications before execution. Perform electrical systems installation on new constructions or renovations while managing timelines and quality standards. Ensure compliance with electrical building codes during all phases of work; document inspections and testing results as required. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete wiring, conduit bending, panel setup, and other electrical tasks efficiently. Read and interpret schematics for industrial electrical systems; troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project flow. Qualifications Valid state-issued Master Electrician license with extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical work. Proven expertise in industrial electrician experience combined with strong knowledge of construction site practices. Deep understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), building code compliance, and low/high voltage systems. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprint review for electrical drafting. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and testing equipment for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience managing teams of electricians on large-scale projects; excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide team members effectively. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems including automation controls like PLCs; ability to interpret control schematics.
