In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial environments. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine effective solutions. Execute high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and protocols. Install and maintain low voltage systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), control panels, and automation equipment for industrial applications. Use hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, and frame carpentry skills to complete installations efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems by analyzing circuit issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring system reliability. Read electrical blueprints accurately to plan wiring layouts for new construction or renovation projects. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems. Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical work. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams with precision. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Skilled in installing high-voltage wiring as well as low voltage control systems including PLCs. Familiarity with construction site procedures, renovation projects, framing carpentry, handyman tasks, and general construction experience is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or maintenance activities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
