In this vital role, you will lead electrical projects across various settings, ensuring all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations. Your expertise will drive the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments. Duties Oversee and execute electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades in industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local building codes. Interpret and review electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately plan and implement wiring layouts for new constructions or renovations. Conduct detailed electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to identify issues within complex electrical systems. Lead and manage teams of electricians on-site, providing guidance on safety procedures, work sequencing, and quality standards to ensure efficient project completion. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to verify compliance with electrical safety procedures, including low voltage and high voltage systems. Install electrical systems including power distribution panels, wiring for industrial machinery, lighting fixtures, and low voltage controls while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Review blueprints for electrical drafting purposes, ensuring accuracy in schematic interpretation for seamless installation processes. Experience Proven experience as an electrician with a valid Master Electrician license; prior management or supervisory experience is highly desirable. Extensive background in industrial electrician work combined with commercial electrical experience across construction sites or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical building codes. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for precise installation and troubleshooting tasks. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, testing devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience managing teams of electricians on large-scale projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project timelines. Familiarity with construction site procedures, blueprint review for electrical drafting, high voltage systems, renovation work, and construction experience is essential for success in this role.
