This role is vital in ensuring that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained in compliance with all relevant codes and standards while meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical engineering knowledge, construction management experience, and exceptional leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements. Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify accuracy and compliance with electrical building codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards. Manage project budgets, costs, and schedules using advanced project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office tools. Coordinate with design teams during the permitting phase to secure necessary approvals and ensure all electrical system designs meet local regulations and safety standards. Oversee construction site activities related to electrical systems installation, commissioning, and testing while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Conduct construction drawing reviews and system design assessments to identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle. Lead project team members by providing clear direction on electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management best practices. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes such as NEC and NFPA 70; manage permits and inspections throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project coordination. Monitor project progress regularly; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Skills Extensive experience managing large-scale electrical projects within construction environments. Proficiency with project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid; strong Microsoft Office skills. Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, system design, schematics reading, and blueprint review. Knowledge of electrical building codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70; experience with permitting processes. Skilled in construction scheduling, cost management, contract administration, and project budget oversight. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing diverse teams on complex projects. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and managing construction contracts from inception through completion.
