ENS Electric is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 2 plus years of licensed, journeyman-level experience to join our team in West Olive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial electrical systems. Experience with generator installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in both residential and commercial environments. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Michigan state/local regulations. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Install and service residential and commercial standby generator systems (preferred).

Qualifications:

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of Michigan). Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a licensed Journeyman Electrician. Proven experience working in both commercial and residential electrical environments. Strong working knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes. Experience with generator systems is a major plus. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
