Seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team in Baxter, MN. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong commercial electrical experience, understands electrical plans and specifications, works safely and efficiently, and can complete installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project requirements. Responsibilities Install electrical systems for new commercial construction, renovations, and tenant improvements. Install conduit, raceways, cable tray, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, and electrical equipment. Bend and install EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and one-line diagrams. Perform electrical rough-in, trim-out, equipment connections, and final installations. Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, controls, lighting, and equipment. Install and terminate feeders, branch circuits, panels, transformers, and other electrical components. Test electrical systems and identify installation or performance issues. Maintain compliance with NEC requirements, company standards, and applicable local and state codes. Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, general contractors, and other trades. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Follow OSHA and company safety procedures. Complete assigned work according to project schedules and quality standards. Qualifications Previous commercial electrical construction experience preferred. Minnesota electrical license or applicable registration preferred/required based on position. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and NEC requirements. Ability to read electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents. Experience bending conduit and performing commercial electrical installations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned project locations. Ability to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Preferred Experience Experience with commercial construction, industrial facilities, schools, healthcare facilities, retail, office buildings, municipal/public projects, service work, and electrical renovations is highly desirable.
Pay:
$38.00 - $47.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
