Job Description

The City of Big Lake is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our Streets & Parks Department as a full-time Street & Parks Operator II. This position performs skilled work involving the construction, maintenance, operation, and repair of city streets, parks, facilities, storm sewer infrastructure, and water/wastewater systems. Qualified applicants must possess an Associate's or Technical degree in a skilled trade (or equivalent experience) and a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Starting pay is $30.57-$38.73 per hour, depending on qualifications. The regular work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., and Friday, 6:30-10:30 a.m. Applications, cover letter, and résumé must be received by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.
