Overview We will also pay 125.00 per day subsistence Pay rate is based on the person's experience including Tech School. Apprentice must be registered with the Mn State DLI Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical industry! This paid apprenticeship offers a hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Under the guidance of experienced electricians, you will develop essential skills in electrical wiring, conduit bending, blueprint reading, and safety procedures. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within a thriving construction environment, gaining valuable knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC and NFPA 70 compliance standards. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without restrictions. In compliance with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Duties Assist with electrical systems installation, including wiring, conduit bending, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform electrical work on commercial and industrial projects. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support installation tasks. Support the setup and testing of low voltage systems and ensure proper electrical wiring connections. Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites. Help with troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet NEC standards, NFPA 70 compliance, and project deadlines. Requirements Prior experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Basic understanding of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, conduit bending techniques, and electrical wiring practices. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and adherence to safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to work effectively on construction sites with physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks performed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for site access.
