Job Description

Job Overview We are building a small, high-quality residential electrical company focused on custom homes and larger residential projects throughout the Kansas City Metro. We are looking for an experienced residential electrician who can grow into a trusted field-lead role - someone who takes pride in clean work, thinks ahead, communicates well, and can eventually run residential rough-ins and trim-outs with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Rough-in and trim custom homes, additions, garages, outbuildings, and other residential projects. Install and terminate services, meter equipment, panels, feeders, branch circuits, lighting, devices, and specialty systems. Read residential plans and carry project layouts from plans and walkthrough notes into the field. Coordinate professionally with builders, superintendents, homeowners, and other trades. Identify conflicts, missing information, and future-use considerations before they become expensive problems. Maintain clean, organized, code-compliant workmanship that reflects Redemptive Electric standards. As experience and trust grow, help lead projects and train helpers/apprentices. Who We're Looking For 2+ years of residential new-construction electrical experience strongly preferred. Custom-home experience is highly preferred. Able to independently rough and trim residential work; lead experience is a major plus. Strong understanding of residential services, panels, grounding/bonding, branch circuits, and NEC requirements. Clean workmanship and attention to detail - we care how the work looks, not only whether it passes inspection. Dependable, self-directed, and able to communicate clearly when something on a job needs attention. Professional around homeowners and builders. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Kansas City metro. Why Redemptive Electric Custom-home focus rather than high-volume production work. Small-company environment with direct access to the owner and meaningful responsibility. Opportunity to help shape the field standards and culture of a growing electrical company. Potential to grow into a lead role as project volume and the team expands. Compensation targeted at $30-$40/hour based on residential experience, leadership ability, and overall fit. How to Apply Email info@redemptiveelectric.com or text 913-206-6466 with your name, years of experience, and a short description of the residential work you have done. A resume is helpful but not required. Screening Questions 1. How many years of residential new-construction electrical experience do you have? 2. What types of projects have you worked on (custom homes, production homes, service, commercial, industrial, etc.)? 3. Have you independently led residential rough-ins and trim-outs? If so, describe the size/type of projects. 4. What hourly compensation range are you looking for?
