Control Panel Wiring Technician We are seeking a hands-on Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final electrical wiring, termination, and verification of control panels and electrical assemblies prior to shipment and field installation. This is a hands-on electrical wiring position focused on point-to-point wiring, reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, terminating components, and ensuring completed assemblies are wired accurately and ready for installation. This is not an industrial maintenance position and does not involve troubleshooting production equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels and electrical assemblies using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, and Bills of Material. Route, terminate, label, and dress electrical wiring according to drawings and specifications. Wire AC and DC circuits, including 24VDC through 480VAC three-phase systems. Verify wiring against schematics to ensure proper connections, routing, and termination. Perform continuity checks, wiring verification, and quality inspections on completed electrical assemblies. Identify wiring discrepancies, incorrect connections, or missing components and make necessary corrections. Work with a variety of electrical components, terminal blocks, relays, contactors, breakers, disconnects, and control devices. Follow applicable electrical, safety, quality, and wiring standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Complete final electrical work and quality checks before equipment is released for shipment and installation. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience wiring electrical control panels, industrial equipment, machinery, or similar electrical assemblies. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings. Experience with point-to-point wiring and electrical terminations. Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits. Ability to work independently from electrical drawings and instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to wiring accuracy and quality. Ability to use common electrical hand tools and testing equipment. Preferred / A Plus Experience working with UL 508A control panels or similar electrical control systems. Experience wiring 24VDC control circuits and 120/240/480VAC systems. Familiarity with industrial control components and electrical distribution equipment. Experience with electrical testing, continuity checks, or troubleshooting wiring issues. Basic PLC or controls knowledge. Electrical trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on electrical experience.
