Job Description

Electrician The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of all electrical systems throughout Golden Valley Memorial Hospital and affiliated facilities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare environment by ensuring electrical infrastructure, emergency power systems, lighting, and associated equipment remain fully operational. The Electrician also assists with preventive maintenance, work orders, construction projects, and general facility support while maintaining compliance with NFPA, Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and applicable state and local electrical codes. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
  • required Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or state-recognized equivalent)
  • required Minimum of five (5) years of commercial, industrial, or healthcare electrical experience
  • preferred Hospital or healthcare maintenance experience
  • strongly preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, NFPA requirements, and healthcare facility regulations Why Join Us?
