Job Description

Journeyman Electrician Location:
Columbia, MO Job Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Friday, ~7:00 AM-4:00 PM, rotating on-call
Compensation:
$28-$36/hr ($58K-$75K annually), plus after-hours differential About the Role We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who can work independently on routine residential and commercial jobs. This is a great fit for someone with a solid technical foundation who's ready to take on jobs with minimal oversight while continuing to grow toward a Master license. What You'll Do Perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair work independently on routine jobs Handle a mix of residential and commercial electrical work day-to-day Diagnose common electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently and to code Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergency service Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and customer service Communicate clearly with customers and coordinate with the broader crew as needed What You Bring 3-6 years of electrical experience Active or eligible Journeyman Electrician certificate (~8,000 hours of apprentice experience under a licensed master electrician, per Columbia/Boone County requirements) Solid installation, troubleshooting, and repair skills Proven ability to work independently on routine jobs Residential and commercial experience preferred Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Deal-Breakers No path to licensure Poor driving record Failed background check Compensation & Benefits $28-$36/hr base ($58K-$75K annualized) After-hours differential pay for on-call emergency service
