Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufactured Home Rehabber and Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive rehabilitation, maintenance, and repair of manufactured homes and associated properties. Your expertise will ensure that each home meets quality standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a broad skill set, and contribute to transforming properties into safe, comfortable, and attractive homes. Duties Perform repairs and renovations on manufactured homes, including framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and interior finishing. Conduct electrical work such as wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing electrical equipment, and reading schematics. Maintain and repair plumbing systems including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and system troubleshooting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as carpentry, welding, HVAC system repair, and mechanical adjustments. Diagnose issues using electrical testers like ohmmeters and schematics to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Service HVAC systems by inspecting units, replacing filters, repairing ductwork, and ensuring optimal operation. Maintain facilities equipment including mechanical systems, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and building interior elements. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects to improve property appearance. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of projects. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within residential or manufactured housing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, welding, and carpentry. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to electrical equipment repair and building systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration. Knowledge of facilities maintenance including building interior upkeep and general property care. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions.
