Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions. Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades. Follow strict electrical safety procedures while working on construction sites or renovation projects to prevent accidents. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently for installation and troubleshooting tasks. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes essential for safe installation practices. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and blueprints reading for accurate wiring layouts. Experience with troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with high-voltage wiring techniques necessary for industrial applications. Ability to interpret technical drawings related to electrical blueprint reading. Strong understanding of low voltage systems used in commercial environments. Construction site experience is preferred for managing installations in active work zones. Handyman experience or background in renovation projects is a plus for versatile troubleshooting needs.
