Job Title:
Industrial Electrician Job Description As an Industrial Electrician, you will inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul solid-state low voltage motor control systems for primary plant and support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment automation and control systems, as well as motor drive systems. Additionally, you will assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements. Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul solid-state low voltage (< 600VAC) motor control systems for primary plant equipment and support equipment. Perform equipment automation and control system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, including Siemens 300/400 and TDC families of components, Siemens TIA Portal (step 7), Rockwell SLC, and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix. Perform motor drive system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Siemens and Rockwell families of drive systems. Troubleshoot using PLC interface for diagnostics. Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all operations and utilities equipment comply with minimum safety and operational requirements. Maintain accurate and complete records of equipment maintenance activities. Assist in writing and reviewing operational and safety Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) on plant equipment; improve procedures and develop new JSAs based on observations and experiences. Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment. Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using various testing tools. Essential Skills Experience with industrial electrical systems and components. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience with Siemens and Rockwell drive systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 schedule rotating every 28 days from days to nights (7am-7pm). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.25 - $36.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
