Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. We pride ourselves on maintaining a small company feel. This is a support position to the IEC Maintenance Department. The IEC Tech I provides support for the repair, installation, and calibration of refinery and terminal IEC equipment and for other activities that involve the IEC Maintenance Department.
Position Qualifications:
This requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and meeting or exceeding IEC Helper qualifications. Strong communication skills recommended. A valid driver's license must be maintained. Must successfully complete and pass a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE). Responsibilities Include the
Following:
Must successfully complete Emergency Response Training and perform duties as assigned Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all times Strive to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates Assist in performance of preventive maintenance on all IEC related equipment Assist in repair and maintenance of steam systems Assist in installation of conduit and wiring Assist in installation and repair of electric heat tracing Assist in installation and maintenance of instrument tubing Assist in troubleshooting and repair of control valves, regulators, heater control panels, motor controls, transmitters and other IEC related equipment Ergon Refining, Inc. is an EEO/AAP employer.
