In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues swiftly and effectively. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, NEC guidelines, and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while following electrical safety procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry related to electrical enclosures, and other installation tasks. Skills Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficient in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures in diverse environments including construction sites and renovation projects. Strong hand tool proficiency along with power tools for installation and repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly in residential or commercial settings. Capable of working independently or as part of a team on multiple projects requiring precise attention to detail.
