repower solar + battery is one of Montana's fastest-growing solar and battery companies and the only Tesla Premier Installer in the state .
Our mission is simple:
make solar and battery backup affordable and available to everyone. The key to our success is getting great people on our team and providing great service to every customer. We are looking for a Journeyman or Master Electrician who wants to take ownership of their work, become a key part of our Kalispell team, and grow with the company. As our go-to electrician, you will take ownership of the electrical side of our solar and battery projects. You will work on battery backup systems, solar, service upgrades, gateways, utility interconnections, and other advanced residential electrical systems. As Montana's only Tesla Premier Installer, you will also have access to additional Tesla training and ongoing product support. What You'll Do Complete electrical installation and interconnection of solar and battery systems. Install and wire batteries, gateways, inverters, disconnects, panels, and related equipment. Complete service upgrades, panel work, grounding, bonding, and utility interconnections. Review electrical plans, one-lines, and equipment specs before and during each job. Evaluate each home and determine the best electrical layout and installation method. Determine equipment locations, conduit routes, service changes, and electrical connections. Coordinate directly with homeowners on scheduling, access, and preferred equipment layout. Work with our engineering team when field conditions require plans to be changed. Clearly communicate changes so plans can be updated correctly for the AHJ and utility. Test, troubleshoot, and commission completed solar and battery systems. Prepare jobs for inspection and work with inspectors when needed. Guide installers and apprentices on the electrical side of each project. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite. Our engineering team creates the plans, but every home is different. We need an electrician who can look at the actual electrical system, solve problems, and determine the best way to complete the work. We want someone whose experience and judgment we can trust in the field. Someone who wants to take ownership of the finished product, not just show up and follow a drawing. What We're Looking For Journeyman or Master Electrician license, or ability to obtain Montana licensure. Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and NEC. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read electrical plans and one-lines. Experience with panels, service equipment, feeders, grounding, and bonding. Ability to communicate well with homeowners, installers, engineers, and inspectors. Ability to make good decisions and take ownership in the field. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Pride in clean, professional electrical work. Solar and battery experience is a plus, but not required. Pay & Performance Pay is $35-$70 per hour based on experience, ability, and performance. More than anything, we value the ability to solve problems. The electricians who can take ownership of a project, work through difficult situations, make good decisions, communicate well, and consistently deliver great work have the ability to earn at the top of the range. What You Get $35-$70/hour based on experience, problem-solving ability, and performance. Full-time, year-round work. A dedicated work van stocked with the tools and supplies needed for the job. Work clothes provided. Additional Tesla product training and ongoing support. Training on solar, battery storage, and new energy technology. The opportunity to take real ownership of your work. The opportunity to grow into greater technical and leadership roles as repower grows. A Stake in the Outcome We believe the people who help build the company should benefit when the company wins. Key employees who become an important part of the team can earn a stake in the outcome through profit sharing and profit holdings. This gives key team members the opportunity to earn a percentage of the profits from the location they help build. We are looking for someone who wants more than their next electrician job. We want someone who wants to become a key part of repower, take ownership of their work, continue learning new technology, and grow with the company for the long term. If that sounds like you, we would like to talk.
