Electrical Helper / Entry-Level - Starting around $17/hour Ideal for someone looking to begin or build a career in the electrical trade. Assists experienced electricians with installations, materials, tools, jobsite preparation, and cleanup. Learns residential electrical systems, proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and electrical code requirements. Must be dependable, willing to learn, able to follow directions, and comfortable working in a construction environment. Previous electrical or construction experience is helpful but not required. Electrical Apprentice / Experienced Helper Some hands-on electrical experience preferred. Assists with residential rough-ins, trims, remodels, and electrical installations. Developing the ability to work independently while continuing to learn electrical systems, troubleshooting, NEC requirements, and proper installation practices. Advancement opportunities are available as skills and responsibilities increase. Residential Electrician / Lead Electrician Experienced in residential new construction, remodels, rough-ins, trims, and electrical installations. Able to read plans and complete assigned work efficiently and accurately. Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC requirements, and jobsite safety. Lead-level candidates should be comfortable directing helpers or apprentices, planning work, communicating with supervisors, and helping keep projects on schedule. Residential Service Electrician Experienced in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading residential electrical systems. Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting ability. Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and explaining electrical issues and recommended solutions professionally. Experience with panels, lighting, outlets, breakers, EV chargers, generators, smart-home equipment, and other residential electrical systems is a plus. Service-level candidates should be capable of working independently and managing service calls efficiently. Responsibilities May Include Depending on your experience and position, responsibilities may include: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems. Perform electrical work for new construction, remodels, service calls, and upgrades. Install wiring, lighting, panels, outlets, switches, breakers, and other electrical components. Perform rough-ins and trims. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics, and technical drawings. Test electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment. Identify electrical hazards, defects, and necessary repairs. Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions. Follow NEC, state, local, and company safety requirements. Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites. Properly care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles when assigned. Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, builders, and customers.
