Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HV/MV Solar Technician to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar energy projects, primarily focusing on onshore renewable energy installations. Responsibilities Install, commission, and troubleshoot high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) photovoltaic systems in accordance with electrical blueprints and schematics Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and maintenance activities Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex PV systems using hand tools, power tools, and ladder use techniques Perform fixture installation, wiring, and connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70 safety protocols Ensure all work complies with electrical safety procedures, including

standards for personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices Utilize construction experience, roofing knowledge, and construction site experience to facilitate seamless PV system installation on various structures Operate forklifts and other construction equipment safely while managing outdoor work environments effectively Troubleshoot electrical systems related to photovoltaic installations, ensuring optimal performance and safety Maintain detailed documentation of all installation activities, inspections, and repairs for quality assurance Experience Proven experience working as a solar technician with a focus on photovoltaic system installation and maintenance Strong background in high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical work within commercial or industrial settings Familiarity with electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and blueprint use for precise installations Experience with
NFPA 70E
