Job Description

Job Title:

Journeyman Inside Wireman (IBEW) - Industrail IBEW Local 553 is seeking an experienced Journeymen Inside Wiremen for an electrical shop positon Our client has three different locations: Durham, Wilson, or Pittsboro, NC. You may be dispatched to any of those site. Pay & Benefits $32.44 / hr Comprehensive union benefits: employer-paid health coverage, defined-benefit pension plus annuity, and paid continuing education / upgrade training 5-8s (40-hour week), potential overtime

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial setting Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code requirements Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment installation Work safely and in compliance with OSHA standards and site requirements

Qualifications:

Journeyman-level experience in industrial electrical installation Valid OSHA-10 certification completed within the last 5 years Must be able to bend conduit Must pass a pre-employment background check Must pass a substance abuse test IBEW Local 553 is an equal opportunity employer.
