Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your enthusiasm for electrical work, combined with a strong commitment to safety and quality, will contribute to the successful completion of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electrical systems installation, conduit bending, wiring, and blueprint reading while working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Support licensed electricians in installing and troubleshooting electrical systems according to blueprints and schematics. Assist with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical systems installation on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation. Follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines. Aid in the installation of commercial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage wiring. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial settings is preferred. Familiarity with electrical schematic reading and interpretation is highly desirable. Experience with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical blueprint reading will set you apart. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and safety protocol adherence is essential. Hands-on experience with power tools, ohmmeters (for testing electrical circuits), and other hand tools required for electrical work. Construction site experience involving commercial or industrial projects is advantageous. Ability to work safely with low voltage and high voltage systems in diverse environments.
