Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work. Work safely on construction sites or renovation projects by adhering to OSHA standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations. Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices like ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems effectively. Collaborate with construction teams or contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into building frameworks or renovation projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections to ensure compliance and facilitate future maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills; and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while following all safety protocols. Knowledge of NEC standards, frame carpentry basics for framing electrical components into structures, and handyman skills for minor repairs. Experience working with construction teams or on large-scale projects that require blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
