Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local codes, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and new construction to complex electrical systems, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to keep operations running smoothly. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Read and interpret construction plans and schematics to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation projects. Perform maintenance on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols based on NEC standards. Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks during renovation or new build projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation. Follow all safety procedures related to construction site work and electrical installations to prevent accidents or hazards. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, power drills, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems. Knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical practices and wiring methods. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently. Hands-on experience with renovation projects or framing carpentry is a plus. Handyman skills or frame carpentry experience are advantageous for versatile project support. Pay:
$24.47 - $35.49 per hour
