Electrician

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including commercial, residential, industrial, and construction sites. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks. Test electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work on high voltage systems while following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance and safety. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and other related construction activities. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation. Read and interpret schematics for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes. Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical systems to prevent downtime and improve operational efficiency. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations including NEC standards and local electrical codes. Assist with handyman tasks related to electrical needs on construction sites or renovation projects as required. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. Hands-on experience working on construction sites, renovations, or similar environments demonstrating adaptability across different projects. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams essential for precise installations. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution is highly desirable. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in industrial automation environments is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools necessary for electrical work. Ability to operate testing equipment like ohmmeters confidently for troubleshooting purposes. Strong background in NEC standards compliance combined with practical knowledge of low voltage systems. Previous handyman experience or frame carpentry skills beneficial for multi-disciplinary project support.
