Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools; based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes Install conduit systems, hang light fixtures, install feeder wire and terminate electrical panels Inspect and trouble shoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety rules Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
