Job Description
Material Handler 1st Shift Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm We are hiring Material Handlers to join the team at MillerKnoll in Hildebran, NC . This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, material handling, forklift, or manufacturing experience who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do As a Material Handler, you will help keep production running smoothly by safely and accurately moving raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility. Move materials between production areas, warehouse locations, staging areas, and trailers. Operate stand-up forklifts, order pickers, and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Receive, store, pull, stage, and transport materials based on production needs. Verify materials and products to ensure correct quantities and part identification. Complete inventory transactions and documentation using handheld scanners, computers, or forms. Perform daily equipment and safety inspections. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards . Perform accuracy checks and report inventory, equipment, or material issues. Rotate between workstations and assist in other areas based on business needs. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Work independently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity expectations. What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the position. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, material handling, or forklift experience is preferred. Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted hours when business needs require. Forklift operator's license required within 30 days of accepting the position.
Pay Details:
