The ideal candidate for foreman will ideally have 3-5 years of experience and possess a strong background in commercial electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in using various electrical testing equipment and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Respond promptly to service calls and perform emergency repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician, with a focus on both commercial and industrial settings preferred. Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus. Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
