Job Description

This postion is located in
Severn,NC Position Scope:
To properly maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility electrical systems, including both single-phase and three-phase equipment, motors and controls.
Essential Job Duties:
Use and conduct proper care of PPE Perform routine preventive maintenance. Install and repair electrical systems, including lighting, motors, controls, enclosures and auxiliary equipment. Use meters and test equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues. Proper use of hand and power tools. Reading and understanding schematics and one-line diagrams. Install power distribution wiring and conduit for newIY installed machines and equipment. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and standards to work within a food production environment. Diagnose malfunctioning mechanical and electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, load centers and lighting Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, Nema starters and position sensors. Maintain a clean work environment. Record and document all maintenance, repair and installations through work orders. Perform all duties assigned by the Electrical Manager.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
3 years Industrial Electrical experience. (Preferred) High School Diploma/GED Knowledge of industrial/commercial environments, including 480-volt 3 phase systems. Ability to pass forklift/ rnanlift/ scissor lift training through SPC. Valid Driver's License. Electrical/Electronics trade certificates preferred .
Work Environment:
Ability to work on elevated surfaces. Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to work in hot or cold environments. Ability to work in noisy, dusty and otherwise hazardous environments.
