Master Maintenance Electrician Organization:
Southwest Water Authority (SWA) Position Summary Southwest Water Authority is seeking a skilled professional to operate and maintain the electrical components of the Southwest Pipeline Project (SWPP)—a large-scale regional water distribution system encompassing pump stations, treatment plants, storage reservoirs, and pipelines in southwest North Dakota. This role focuses primarily on electrical systems, cathodic protection, and SCADA telemetry. Key Responsibilities
•
Electrical Systems & Renovations:
Perform scheduled electrical maintenance, complete code-compliant installations for expansions or renovations, and review electrical construction plans/specifications.
•
Cathodic Protection:
Oversee, monitor, and adjust cathodic protection systems to ensure optimal performance and long-term asset integrity.
•
SCADA & Radio Telemetry:
Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and assist in expanding SCADA-controlled and radio-controlled telemetry equipment.

Facilities & Operations Maintenance:
Maintain treatment facilities, vaults, and pump stations; maintain detailed operational records. Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Expertise:
Working knowledge of industrial electrical codes, cathodic protection performance, and SCADA telemetry systems.

Compliance & Regulations:
Ability to learn and adhere to SWA policies alongside federal, state, and local water and electrical regulations.
•
Communication & Teamwork:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with SWA staff, engineers, contractors, and the public.
•
Self-Management:
