Overview:
  • We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career in the electrical industry.
  • Duties:
  • Assist experienced electricians in performing electrical work on commercial, industrial, and residential construction sites.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Use electrical testing equipment such as an ohmmeter and voltmeter to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Build and install electrical systems and components according to schematics and National Electric Code (NEC) standards.
  • Assist with frame carpentry and other tasks as needed. Must be comfortable with going on a roof.
  • Perform low-voltage electrical work, including installing and maintaining communication systems.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient construction process.
  • Requirements:
  • Ability to work safely on construction sites and follow all safety protocols.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in electrical work or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters and voltmeters.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Ability to build and install electrical systems and components.
  • Experience with low-voltage electrical work.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
