Job Description
Signage Service Technician Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial signage. Experience servicing all @types of commercial signage including channel letters, electrical signs, cabinet signs, monuments, pylons, LED displays, and illuminated signage. Strong understanding of electrical components, LED lighting systems, power supplies, transformers, wiring, timers, photocells, and related sign components. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and accurately diagnose problems in the field. Experience with sign repairs, LED conversions, component replacement, electrical repairs, re-lamping, and sign maintenance. Must be competent in using tools of the trade such as multimeters, tape measures, drills, levels, lasers, and other manual, electric, and pneumatic tools. Ability to safely operate ladders, lifts, cranes, bucket trucks, and other equipment required to access signage at various heights. Must be proficient with an iPad and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn our service management programs and systems. Ability to complete service documentation, take jobsite photographs, communicate findings, and provide accurate updates from the field. Must be customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally at client locations. Must be motivated, possess a strong work ethic, give great attention to detail and directions, be dependable, and be available to work overtime and emergency service calls as needed. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license and possess a clean driving record. Electrical experience, OSHA training, CDL, lift certification, or crane certification is a BIG plus.Signage Service Technician Compensation:
