Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, identify potential hazards or failures, and implement corrective actions following electrical safety procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, installation, or repair tasks with precision. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless execution of electrical work on construction or renovation sites. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and blueprint reading skills essential for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Skilled in diagnosing complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; adept at troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently. Experience working with industrial electrical systems including low voltage controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage wiring. Ability to perform electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while adhering to all safety procedures. Familiarity with construction site practices including framing carpentry and handyman skills that support comprehensive project execution.
