Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automated equipment in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with industrial machinery, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, ovens, and production equipment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and automated production equipment. Diagnose electrical issues involving PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, relays, and control panels . Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging equipment, and other industrial systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Install, wire, and modify electrical components and control systems. Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and other diagnostic tools. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work orders. Follow all OSHA, GMP, food safety, and company safety requirements . Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance , preferably in food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, sensors, and automation systems . Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits. Mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team. Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime when needed. Preferred Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial automation. Experience working with bakery or food-processing equipment. Electrical or industrial maintenance certification is a plus.
Pay:
$33.00 - $40.00 per hour
