This opportunity is open to electricians with a few years of experience who are ready to take on more responsibility, as well as experienced electricians and foremen looking for a long-term home with a stable and growing organization. The role can be tailored to the candidate's experience level. Depending on background, responsibilities may range from performing hands-on electrical work and supporting a crew to leading larger crews and overseeing day-to-day field operations. You'll work closely with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate manpower and materials, interpret drawings and specifications, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical skills, initiative, and leadership will have opportunities to take on additional responsibility and grow within the organization. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee electrical installations on commercial construction projects. Work alongside Project Managers and field leadership to coordinate daily activities and keep projects on schedule. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project plans. Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment based on project needs. Assist with directing and assigning daily work to electricians and apprentices as experience increases. Install and oversee feeders, distribution systems, lighting, panels, switchgear, motors, pumps, generators, and other electrical equipment. Perform and oversee electrical connections, terminations, and related installation work. Troubleshoot electrical and installation issues and provide hands-on support in the field. Coordinate electrical activities with other trades to maintain productivity and avoid delays. Communicate field conditions, material requirements, manpower needs, and project updates with the Project Manager. Assist with take-offs, job planning, material planning, and project preparation as needed. Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, safety, and quality. Provide guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices when appropriate. Complete daily reports, time records, material tracking, and required safety documentation. Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and job-site procedures. Maintain positive working relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 2+ years of commercial electrical experience; additional experience is welcome. Experience with commercial or ground-up construction preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and job-site safety. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to take on additional responsibility and grow into a leadership role. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Reliable, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Foreman or crew-lead experience is a plus, but not required.
