Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Holiday Lighting Installer and Decorator, where your creativity and technical skills will transform spaces into festive wonderlands! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, decorating, and maintaining holiday lighting displays that bring joy to communities. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure each project is executed safely, efficiently, and with a touch of holiday magic. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, showcase your craftsmanship, and spread holiday cheer through stunning visual displays. Duties Install holiday lighting systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring secure attachment and proper electrical connections Decorate with lights, ornaments, and other festive elements according to design plans or client specifications Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and interpret schematics to identify faults or malfunctions Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on lighting displays to ensure safety and optimal appearance throughout the season Operate heavy equipment or mechanical tools safely for mounting lights on rooftops, trees, or tall structures Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and decoration to prevent accidents or damage Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately implement complex lighting arrangements Experience Prior experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, or working with schematics is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to the installation of outdoor fixtures, mounting hardware, or structural supports is a strong plus Hands-on experience with heavy equipment mechanics or maintenance of tools used in outdoor decorating projects is beneficial Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices for outdoor electrical systems enhances performance in this role Technical proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics ensures precise installation and troubleshooting skills Ability to use testing devices such as ohmmeters confidently for electrical diagnostics Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are essential Join us in creating memorable holiday experiences by bringing light and joy to communities!
