We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. Job Summary In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure that electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Own required hand tools Ability to communicate information effectively and work with a team. Working knowledge of electrical installations Understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Work through all seasons of weather. Operate machinery, i.e., scissor lift, articulating boom, etc. Proficiency in working with high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control circuits within industrial environments. This is a full-time position. Some late days and weekend work will be required throughout the year. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and repair of buildings. Reliable transportation to travel to project locations in Central and North Jersey Commercial electrician experience is highly preferred, with familiarity in installing and maintaining commercial electrical systems. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and systems in industrial and commercial settings. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures. Perform low and high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, installation, and repairs. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical components. Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards.
