Magnum Electric LLC is a commercial and industrial electrical contracting company serving Central and North Jersey. We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and organized Foreman/Electrician to lead electrical crews and oversee installations for our larger construction projects. This position combines hands-on electrical expertise with strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial/industrial electrical experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, strong knowledge of the NEC, and experience managing crews and construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial and industrial construction sites. Plan and coordinate daily electrical work to ensure projects stay on schedule. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Ensure all electrical installations are completed according to project specifications and applicable codes. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Manage crew assignments, productivity, and overall job-site performance. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades as needed. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions. Perform hands-on electrical installations and assist the crew when needed. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Own required hand tools. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with various phases of electrical construction, including conduit, switchgear, lighting, large wire pulls, control panels, relays, alarm and detection systems, and high and low-voltage equipment. Familiarity with metering, motor testing, troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance. Ability to safely operate construction equipment, including Lulls, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts. Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Willingness to work occasionally late days and weekends based on project requirements. Physical Requirements Must be physically capable of performing the standard duties associated with commercial and industrial electrical construction, including but not limited to: Working above 30 feet Working below ground Working on roofs Core drilling Lifting and carrying common electrical and construction materials
