Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Standby Generator Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining standby generator systems across commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will ensure that backup power solutions operate reliably and safely, adhering to all relevant electrical codes and safety procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to deliver top-quality electrical installations that keep critical systems running seamlessly during outages. Responsibilities Install, wire, and commission standby generator systems in compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes Install all gas connections to the generator in compliance with the IFGC Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of installed systems to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with industry standards Experience Proven experience as a residential or commercial electrician with a focus on generator or backup power system installation Strong background in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and working with low voltage and high-voltage wiring Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety regulations related to electrical work Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power drills, saws, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively Must have 5 years of experience working as an electrician Join our team if you're passionate about delivering reliable power solutions!
