Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Electrician at
ARC INTERNATIONAL GROUP
is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components to ensure optimal functionality and safety within the company's facilities. This role requires a skilled professional who can diagnose electrical issues, implement effective solutions, and adhere to all relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, in accordance with established standards and codes. Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality. Collaborate with other team members and departments to plan and execute electrical projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including installations, repairs, and inspections, for future reference and compliance purposes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the highest level of expertise and compliance. Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Respond promptly to emergency calls and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize disruption to operations and ensure the safety of personnel and facilities.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting. Proven track record of installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components. Experience in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical capability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
