EE98J Licensed Electrician Piru Group Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time | Contract From $25 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Electrical License Programmable logic controllers Blueprint reading Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a licensed Electrician (EE98J) to join our team, providing expert electrical services across various industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including low and high voltage applications, and be proficient in reading schematics and blueprints. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, renovation projects, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations. Candidates with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial and commercial electrical systems, and construction site work are highly preferred. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, adhering to NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely, ensuring proper grounding and safety protocols are followed. Perform renovation work on existing electrical infrastructure, including upgrading wiring and components as needed. Read schematics and control diagrams related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation projects. Collaborate with construction teams on-site for installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of electrical systems during new builds or renovations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures. Experience Valid EE98J Licensed Electrician certification is required. Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, schematics, blueprints, and control wiring. Familiarity with NEC regulations governing electrical installations. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical work. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, frame carpentry skills, handyman experience preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for complex electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity for licensed electricians to apply their skills in dynamic environments while ensuring safe and efficient electrical operations across multiple projects.
