Job Description
Job Summary:
3 Rivers Electric LLC is seeking skilled and licensed Journeyman or Wireman Electricians with proven expertise in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs in either residential, commercial, and/or oil and gas settings. Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics, adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. A self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities, a commitment to quality workmanship, and excellent communication skills. Possesses a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (with open consideration for those in the process of regaining privileges). Based out of the Farmington office for oil and gas roles, with potential locations in Durango or Farmington for roles with a residential/commercial focus.Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and/or repairs in either a residential/ commercial or oil and gas settings, adhering to all applicable codes and standards. Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and specifications for electrical systems. Install and maintain various electrical equipment and systems, including but not limited to: Residential- Wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, panels, generators, and home automation systems. Commercial
- Power distribution systems, lighting controls, motor controls, fire alarm systems, and data/communication wiring. Experience in the hotel or restaurant spaces a plus. Oil & Gas
- Wiring for pumps, motors, control panels, instrumentation, and hazardous location electrical systems.
NFPA 70E.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients. Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Journeyman or Wireman Electrician license in either the State of New Mexico or Colorado. Oil and gas employees are based out of the Farmington office. Residential or commercial focused employees can be located out of either Durango or Farmington. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in residential, commercial, or oil and gas. Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform required tasks. Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively as a self-starter. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are generally required to operate company vehicles.
