Installation and Maintenance:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, control systems.Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnosing electrical problems, testing circuits, and repairing or replacing faulty components using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and wire strippers.Blueprints and Technical Diagrams:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to plan installations and ensure compliance with codes.Safety Compliance:
Following the National Electrical Code, local building regulations, and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure system reliability.Specialized Tasks:
Working on generators, transformers, motor control circuits, and renewable energy systems; performing infrared inspections or thermographic analysis in industrial settings.Client Communication:
Coordinating with clients to establish job requirements, provide cost estimates, and explain repairs or installations.- Perform mechanical/electrical repair and troubleshooting.
- Provide equipment maintenance (routine, preventive, corrective) and repairs and support facilities testing and upkeep.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a license electrician in New Mexico or Texas.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret Security Clearance; candidates currently possessing an active Secret clearance are preferred.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing equipment maintenance, repair and certification for weight handling (WHE), material handling (MHE) and ordnance handling equipment (OHE).
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and accomplish complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity.
- Knowledge in running equipment forklift, manlift, scissor lift. Safety in said equipment.
- Have pulled/backed a trailer.
- Knowledge in hand tools and safety use of hand tools.
- Knowledge in metal working.
